Here's how to do it:
1. Register online (you are here...good job!)
2. Your racing bib will be emailed to you with your race confirmation. Print it off and pin it to yourself (carefully).
3. Grab a water bottle and head outside.
4. Run 5 kilometers (3.12 miles) anywhere. Literally...walk out your door...run 1.56 miles...run back OR go to your favorite running spot and start there! Run with family, run with your dog, run with friends (practicing good social distancing and all that of course), run with your friend's dog...the possibilities are endless.
5. Post a picture and your time on an Instagram post or story and tag: #yl21runnorcalnevadaNo Instagram? Email times here
Prizes will be awarded for:
Top 3 times in male and female categories
Most Average Time
Youngest and Oldest runners
Best costume (you definitely need to post a picture to get this one)
Your registration money supports your local YL Area and gets you in on all the fun!
Sponsor money will be used to cover event costs (like PRIZES)! Remaining sponsor funds (assuming we get more than we need for those prizes) will go back to your local YL Area.
